Our Approach

About Miha...

I am originally from Slovenia, but grew up in Thailand, where I moved with my parents at the age of nine. I attended the International School of Bangkok and was lucky to be able to travel across Asia. In 1996 I moved back to Europe and attended the University of Maryland UC campus in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, where I majored in International Business Management and English (Lit).

I began my professional career at Deloitte (in Slovenia) where I worked in Financial Advisory Services. However, the bulk of my professional career was spent at Shell where I worked across Europe in Supply Chain Management. You can read more about my professional career here.

In 2009 I moved to Austin, Texas, to attend the LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT Austin. There I earned a Masters Degree in Global Policy Studies and a PhD in Public Affairs. My areas of research include strategy, leadership, generational change, and gamification.

I currently work as a consultant, lecturer, and mentor. I live in Austin with my wife, Mayra, and our two cats, Spork and Yukon.
